These 5-Week Progressive classes will take the skills of a completed beginner advanced beginner level class (taken anywhere) and allow you to grow in a way that will enable you to advance as a dancer. Listening and understanding Bachata music is critical to mastering this incredible dance. Some of the skills that you should have (and we will build on) include how to:
Listen to and feel the music
Stay on "the one" beat while executing intermediate moves
Initiate intermediate 24+ count patterns
Perform intermediate footwork and turn patterns
Utilize proper follower/leader techniques
And most importantly: How to keep dancing to timing!

The class will focus both on Modern Style and Dominican Style Bachata. We will teach musicality (understanding the beat, instruments, and timing), and how to get creative with several turn pattern combinations. This is a great follow up course for those interested in getting nasty (as in vicious) on the dance floor with the sensual and amazing dance of Bachata.
